ANABEL RUB PEICHER
Born and raised in Lima, Perú, on December 1974 she relocated to Miami, Florida and graduated with a bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami. She has participated in the American Red Cross Designers Show house of Broward County in 2007 and 2008. She participated in Art Serve Eagles Soar…A Tribute to Liberty with her artistic design on the ‘Liberty Eagle.’She had her first solo art exhibit on February - March 2010 at Gallery 101 in Ft. Lauderdale. She has participated at Flamingo Gardens Art Fest on 2011, 2012, winning first place for 3D sculpture in 2013 and in 2014. She had her first Mother and Daughter exhibit with her mother Raquel Rub at Maor Gallery from February to March 7th, 2011. She has had a second solo exhibit at Artspark in Hollywood, Florida on December 2012 through February 2013. Her third solo show was at Cypress Creek Library in the summer of 2013. Her work has been exhibited at Luminarte in Dallas, Texas and at the Ayalon Chamber of Commerce in Dallas, Texas. She has participated in Red Dot Exhibit on December 3 - 8, 2013. She has had her fourth solo show at Sala de Exposiciones del Club Regatas Lima Perú, from March 6 through April 6, 2014. She exhibited at Sea Fair, Bayfront Park, Miami, Fl.. She exhibited at Contact Arte Monterrico-Lima Peru May 15 2014, and at Espacio 120, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona Spain, May 17 - July 7, 2014. She had a 2nd mother and daughter exhibit at ArtsHall at CRA Business Resource Center and BACA Pompano Beach, Fl. June 19th – July 10th 2014. [She is still exhibiting some artwork at the gallery].
She has exhibited at the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery at Broward College student exhibit, earning 2nd place award for her “Abstract I” ceramic scuipture, on June 2013, and earning the 2nd place award with her “Abstract III” ceramic sculpture on the Spring 2014 Student Exhibit. She has exhibited at the CAS Gallery at UM on June 2014, with the Ceramic League Miami in which she won the Buck Weaver memorial merit award for her ceramic Abstract III. She is constantly entering competitions and exhibiting at the Ceramic League Miami, Broward Art Guild, Broward College Potters Guild, Art Serve, Armonia Gallery-Caminos del Inca, Lima- Peru, Galeria Vertice, Lima - Peru. Galeria Ivonne Sanguinetti Lima Peru. She has exhibited at Art Serve Art Viva at the Miramar Cultural Center from September 19th through October 23rd 2014. Art Serve “Big Exhibit” October 2014 and the Oakland Park Library October 2014. She participated in Spectrum December 3-7 2014. Exhibiting at Art Expo New York 2015, with Current Art Group USA on April 23 – 26, 2015. She exhibited at the Museum of Coral Gables in the Art Cycle Exhibit “Cyclists Matter” with her installation titled “Spirit” on March 5th through May 24th 2015.
On February 9 - 26, 2015, she will have her 4th solo show at the University of Miami - Wynwood Gallery, Fl. The opening reception will be on February 12 2015 from 4-10 pm.
She is a board member of The Broward Art Guild, and member of 2 + 3 The Artists Organization, Art Serve, Gold Coast Watercolor society, Broward College Potters Guild, Ceramic League Miami and Na’amat. She volunteers at Gilda’s Club doing children’s workshops.
